We have a great list of very wonderful and deserving Fur kids who are begging for a place to call Home. Some of these kids have been living at Paw Paw’s for months and desperately want a family to serve, satisfy, and please!

Please Consider Opening your Heart and Homes to these Kids. If you can’t, share their information, maybe someone you know can!

All Funds received from adoptions are used to help support the current foster kids and the ones to come. We can always use donations of dog food, sheets, towels, cleaning supplies, newspaper, paper towels, paper and plastic bags, and funds for annual vet visits.

2yr old small mix; Altered male; utd on vaccinations

His Favorite place to be is asleep on the back of the couch or chair or in my lap helping me do whatever!  I have had to earn Toby’s trust, it wasn’t hard but I had to work at it for a day or two until he got over being left behind.  At his previous home he had a 3 year old 2 legged brother who he absolutely adored and protected. Toby is an emotional little guy meaning his feeling get hurt easily. A calm, quiet stable home is best for Toby. Someone who is home often (not going in and out of town all the time) He likes kids after he gets over being scared. Toby does jump, into my lap, into my arms, on the back of my legs if I’m not paying attention to him and for someone who can’t bend over he’s great you just have to catch him! Toby Loves, LOVES to ride in cars and travels very well. Toby is house broken. Toby gets along with dogs very well as long as introductions are done appropriately. Toby is very smart and moldable and I hope will one day come back to school and show me all the cool tricks his new family teaches him.

Luscious “LaLa”

2yr old Altered Female Bully

LaLa has been in Doggy Daycare/ Boarding now since January 2010.  She is a very sweet girl who has earned her spot in a forever home! LaLa has lived a life of unfortunate events.  Her home burned down and her mommy is now terminally ill and too weak to care for her. LaLa has always kept positive and happy through all of this and appreciates all that she has and those who have helped her! LaLa isn’t much of a guard dog but a lot of a ball hog! She loves to run with her deflated basketball in her mouth and have the boys chase her.  LaLa is potty trained and is crate trained without argument or fuss! LaLa’s yard mates play pretty rough and she can handle herself! LaLa has received training from Barkbusters with a life time guarantee and I recommend you use that. In the time she has been here we have lost some of our house manners! LaLa is more excited about giving kisses and sleeping then she is about the boys or her ball! LaLa has done well with all dogs I have had her with big and small. LaLa does give very obvious signals to warn you she isn’t comfortable with another dog. LaLa is strong and her front brakes don’t work so well so you still have to watch yourself around her or you could end up in the grass with her! Her tail is a whip and a weapon in itself so she will need monitoring around the weak! LaLa would do well in a home that is educated in the bully breed. Bully Breeds don’t get a second chance in this world and I won’t let her go to a home unless you are completely confident in your standing as ALFA in your home! LaLa has to know who is boss in her new home and be given direction and jobs to keep her happy! I have never left LaLa in the yard unattended and the few times she has been left at home uncrated she was a perfect angle!  LaLa is not a typical hyper, can’t set still, can’t focus bully! She is very attentive, she watches people and others, and she seems like she is often lost in thought and is very quiet until she notices you aren’t paying her attention or you have something she wants!! LaLa is very smart, give her long enough and she will find a way to get what she wants from you!  I want LaLa to go to a home with others to play with, lots of love and direction, a kiddy pool and lots of balls!

Pumpkin

3 yr old, Female, unaltered, Bully mix

I haven’t had pumpkin but for a little while but this girl is so sweet! She is so eager to please. She Loves all attention she can get. Even for her size and type she is such a calm and gentle girl! Great with Kids, remains calm when chaos is around her. I am very proud to be a foster mom to this surprisingly stable young lady! From what I know she was found as a stray at a local elementary school with her “boyfriend” She has been to 2 foster homes before me and everyone says the same thing, that this girl is as sweet as they come! Her puppies will be grown and starting their little life’s in new loving homes! Can someone not consider doing the same for this great great girl who is just as deserving?
