Why is the Evaluation Day Required?
Comfort is Key! We have to assure your fur-kids comfort before they stay the night. We need to determine the level of anxiety (if any) there will be being away from mom, dad and home. By having all our boarding clients come to the facility and spend the day with us, we have the chance to get to know your fur kid and for them to get to know us. We don’t want things to be new to them, we want them to feel comfortable and at home when they come to stay the night. This play day will desensitize your pet, to the noise level & the activity level. Anything that will make your pet, nervous, uneasy or anxious we try to eliminate by taking the new out of everything.
We want them to know the staff already, and to already have friends and to already know where the couch is so when they come back they are familiar and comfortable and will consider this their Home Away from Home!
We want everyone, regardless of socialization preferences, to be familiar and comfortable. We can’t make this happen and assure your pets comfort until we meet them. We never want to find out too late that your fur-kid is unhappy and uncomfortable. This play day is set up to prevent that.
So, we apologize, we Do Not accept Walk-ins.
Once your fur kid has associated Paw Paw’s as a positive, good place, you shouldn’t have to reacclimatize them to the system, this will be their HOME AWAY FROM HOME!
